Obituary of Helen J. Johnson

Helen J. Johnson, 71, wife of the late Arthur Johnson, died suddenly and unexpectedly at her home on Sunday morning. Born in Chelsea, she was the daughter of the late William and Caroline Muse. She lived there in her youth and graduated from Chelsea High School. She lived in Peabody for many years. Mrs. Johnson was employed in the Housekeeping Department at J.B. Thomas Hospital in Peabody where she worked for 20 years, retiring in 1991. She is survived by: two sons, Arthur Johnson of FL and William Johnson of Epping, NH; three grandchildren, she leaves a dear friend, Chris of Danvers, several nieces and nephews, and her cherished pet companion, her cat Crystal. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Muse. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to her Funeral Service on Friday at 12:30 P.M. in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 20 Church St. location, Peabody. A visitation will precede from 11 AM to 12:30 P.M. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody. Memorial donations may be made to the Joslin Diabetes Center, One Joslin Place, Boston, MA 02215.
