Obituary of Jeannine R. (Boucher) Roumeliotis

Jeannine R. (Boucher) Roumeliotis, 85, of Peabody died Wednesday evening, May 14, 2014 at the NSMC Salem Hospital after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Nicholas Roumeliotis. She was born in Springfield, MA on April 24, 1929, the daughter of the late Rene and Rena (Gagnon) Boucher and was raised and educated in Salem, MA graduating from the Academie Ste. Chretienne in 1947. She had been employed at the General Accident and Insurance Company in Peabody prior to her retirement. Jeannine had been a member of the Helenic Guild and enjoyed going to the Peabody Council on Aging. Her most precious time was spent being with her family. She is survived by a son, Charles Roumeliotis of Peabody, a daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Wayne Francis of Peabody, her brothers, Rene Boucher of New Jersey and Ronald Boucher of Pennsylvania, her two grandchildren, Sheri Carbone and her husband John and Laura and her husband Sean Cohan all of Peabody, her three cherished great grandchildren, John Carbone IV, McKenna and Kale Cohan and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Leonard Boucher. A Visitation will be held on Sunday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. Her funeral will be held on Monday at 9:00 AM from the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John the Baptist Church, Peabody at 10:00 AM. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
