Obituary of Marjorie (Joyce) Parsons

Marge left to be with her late husband Al on May 13, 2014. She was born in Chelsea, MA and at the age of 6 months went to live in Freshwater, Newfoundland where she resided until returning at the age of 21 to live with an aunt and uncle in Medford, MA. While there she met the love of her life, Alfred Parsons. They were married for 65 years before his passing in 2012. She leaves behind a son Stephen Parsons with a daughter-in-law Pauline and a daughter Diane and a daughter – in-law Michelle. Marge was a housewife and mother until .Alzheimer’s disease brought her to spend her last years with many wonderful caregivers at the Oxford Nursing Center in Haverhill, MA where she enjoyed music and coffee time. The family would like to thank the staff at the Oxford for the wonderful care given to her. A visitation will be held on Monday from 5:00 untill 8:00PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. A funeral service will be held there on Tuesday at 11:00 AM with Rev. Ralph Wetherington of the West Congregational Church, Peabody officiaiting. Burial will be in Puritan lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
