Obituary of James T. Doyle Sr.

James T. Doyle, 84, of Weymouth, died on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 after a short illness. He was the husband of the late Catherine A. (Caulfield) Doyle and later the late Elaine Marie (Hanson) Cox Doyle. He was born in Boston, MA , the son of the late Charles P. and Grace A. (Marron) Doyle and was raised there and had resided in Peabody and for the past 30 years in Weymouth. He had been a self employed contractor in the construction industry for many years. Earlier he was employed with the Zozio Appliance Company of Revere. He enjoyed listening to Jazz music and playing his drums but his special time was being with his family. He is survived by three sons, James T. Doyle Jr. and his wife Melody of Bradford, MA, Lawrence A. Doyle and his wife Mary of Sanford, ME and Robert M. Doyle of Beverly, Three brothers, twins Paul Doyle of Winthrop and Charles Doyle of Randolph and Joseph Doyle of Braintree, his 4 cherished granddaughters, Tennille Doyle of Salem, MA, Christina and Stephanie Doyle both of Sanford, ME and Catherine Doyle of Peabody, his grandson, Michael Doyle of Beverly, two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Maureen E. Doyle and the brother of the late Lawrence and Edward Doyle and Grace Perfetti. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at St. Adelaide’s Church , 708 Lowell St., West Peabody at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, West Peabody. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the charity of your choice.
