My deepest sympathies to the entire family. Sandy was a great inspiration to me with her encouragement and inspiration with WW meetings.I always remember her voice when I am in the subway and she always said "walk in place" while waiting for the train which I still do to this day!! She was a wonderful person and friend and will be greatly missed by a lot of people. Thank You and love you Sandy..

My late husband Ed and I met Sandy & Joe 40 years ago at Cove Haven in the Poconos. Besides getting married the same day and honeymooning at the same place, I discovered that Sandy and I had and were destined to have so much in common. We took the same medications, we both became nurses, we each had 2 sons, and sadly, my husband 's and Sandy's lives were quickly taken away by liver cancer at early ages. My thoughts, prayers and condolences are extended to Joe and the entire family. I love you! Barbara. xxx

I have known Sandy for the better part of over 40yrs. Even though, we had not seen each other in a quite awhile - it doesn't matter, since the love andthe friendship was always there. Cannot describe my feelings of sadness and shock upon hearing this news. However, I've learned as I've grown older to embrace those memories that we hold dear. For in the end, it's not what you leave behind that counts, but what you do while you are still here on this earth. I will always treasure our friendship and the good times we shared.

Like the motto from my high-school yearbook; 'Always Remember - Never Forget'.

Peace & Love Always,
-Bob DiCicco
