Obituary of Patricia (Jenkins) Del Rossi

Patricia (Jenkins) Del Rossi, 63, of Lynnfield died unexpectedly Tuesday at her home. She was born in Cambridge, Ma. the daughter of the late Deward and Ann (Tichanuk) Jenkins and moved to Miami, Florida in her youth where she resided and was a graduate of North Miami High School. She then moved back to Cambridge, Ma and was a graduate of the University of Massachusetts and later Northeastern University where she studied interior design and decorating. She had resided in Wakefield, Melrose and Peabody. She was first employed at Marty’ s Furniture in Melrose and Stoneham and later became the proprietor of Patrician Interiors for the past 28 years. She also taught Interior Design for many years at the North Shore Community College. She had been a director at the Fitch Nursing Home of Melrose. She had a love of animals and was a member and past president of the Melrose Humane Society. She was an extensive traveler, an avid reader and enjoyed taking walks in the morning. She was the former wife of James Del Rossi. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Deward and Deb Jenkins Jr. of East Point, GA, a niece, Cheryl Earle of Tyrone, GA, a nephew, Steven Jenkins of Senoia,GA, an aunt, Vera Hart of West Palm Beach, FL, her godchild, Ashlee Del Rossi of Wakefield, a dear friend, Dennis Walters of Everett and many other caring friends. A Visitation will be held on Friday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 20 Church St., Peabody facility. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Assumption Church, Grove St., Lynnfield. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
