Obituary of Marjorie (Legere) Perrone

Marjorie (Legere) Perrone, 59, of Peabody, died peacefully on Thursday, June 12,2014 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House, Danvers with her family at her side. She was the wife of 35 years to retired Peabody firefighter Ernest Perrone. She was born in Everett, MA on April 9, 1955, the daughter of the late Joseph and Jeanne (Coyle) Legere and had resided in Peabody most of her life. She was a graduate of Peabody Vets. Memorial High School and had attended Essex Agriculture School of Nursing in Middleton. She later was a waitress for over 20 years starting at the former Bug-A- Boo Creek Restaurant, Peabody, later at the 99 Restaurant in Salem and then at Bertucci’s Restaurant in Swampscott. Margie enjoyed shopping, especially for her children. She did arts and crafts, crocheting, sewing and making her famous sauces for cooking and baking her French apple pies. She was a nurturer to her family and to her four dogs, Holly, Hailey, Chloe and Sam. She is survived by her husband, Ernest, of Peabody, a son and daughter-in-law, James Anthony and Jennifer Perrone of Reading, a daughter and son-in-law, Kristin Michelle Perrone and Michael Manzo of Danvers and a sister, Jane Marie Legere of Charlestown and many nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held on Monday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. A Family Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 9:00 AM at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in PuritanLawn Memorial Park Peabody.
