Obituary of Larry S. Lekos

Larry Lekos PEABODY—Larry Lekos, 47, beloved husband of Lisa (Aia) Lekos, died unexpectedly on Monday June 23, 2014 at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford after being stricken while at work. Born in Marlborough, he was the son of Angelike “Kiki” (Manolopoulos) Lekos of Peabody and the late James Lekos. He graduated from Peabody High School. Mr. Lekos worked as a Parts Manager with Colonial Nissan in Medford. Larry had a passion for cars, and was a wealth of information regarding all things for cars. He enjoyed tinkering with mechanical aspects, and playing Texas Hold ‘Em Poker. He enjoyed traveling, and going to the beach, especially Hampton Beach. He was a very generous person and will be remembered for his dedication to family, friends and helping others. He is survived by his wife Lisa (Aia) Lekos of Lynn, with whom he shared 15 years of marriage; his mother Angelike “Kiki” Lekos of Peabody; a sister Debbie Germano of Peabody; his nieces & nephews Ashley Fontina, T.J. Germano, and Eric Germano all of Peabody, Melissa Aia of Germany, Jada Bianchi and Jianna Bianchi both of Lynn; two great-nieces and one great-nephew, and he leaves two beloved Beagles Sammy and Molly. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather on Thursday June 26, 2014 at 10 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody followed by a Funeral Service at 11 AM in St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church, Peabody. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4 – 8 P.M. in the funeral home. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
