Obituary of Lenora M. (Franco) Spain

Lenora M. (Franco) Spain, 69, of Peabody, formerly of Lynn, wife of the late Francis Spain, died peacefully at her home on Saturday morning, June 28, 2014. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late John and Maria (Maimone) Franco. Lenora was a resident of Lynn for most of her life until moving to Peabody about a year ago. She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Lucy and Brian DeRoo of Peabody with whom she resided, Patricia Spain of Peabody, four grandchildren, Jeremy and his wife Megan DeRoo, Heather and her husband Brandon Trempe, Tori Ross, Patrick Lee, two sisters, and brothers-in-law, Kathy and Jim Neylon of Saugus, Mary Ann and Dennis Sullivan of Taunton and one niece, Kaitlyn Sullivan. Lenora was predeceased by her son, John Spain. Her funeral service will be held Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. Visiting hours are Wednesday, 4 to 8 pm. Relatives and friends invited to attend. Burial is in Oak Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
