Obituary of Valentine (Zielinski) Niebrzydowski

Valentine (Zielinski) Niebrzydowski, 66, of Peabody, died early Wednesday morning at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington after a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of Alfred Niebrzydowski with whom she shared over 42 years of marriage. Born in Poland, she was the daughter of the late Ludwik and Salomea (Zielinska) Zielinski. She immigrated to the United States when she was 13 years old, and settled in Lynn were she graduated from Lynn Classical High School in 1954. She has lived in Peabody for the past 40 years. She was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family and later with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed gardening, and was very creative with arts and crafts. Besides her loving husband, she is survived by two daughters, Christine Wilkinson of Wilmington and Susan Forsythe of Colorado; a brother, Steve Zielinski of Salem; a sister, Louise Balajewicz of Peabody; 4 grandchildren, Michael, James, Katie, and Connor and several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours on FRIDAY from 5-8 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 12 Chestnut St., Peabody facility to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Following cremation, her Funeral Service will be held on MONDAY at 9:00 AM at St. John’ s Church, Peabody. Burial in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody
