Obituary of Brian Shea

Brian Shea PEABODY—Brian F. Shea, 58, of Davie, Florida, formerly of Peabody, passed away after a lengthy illness on July 2, 2014, surrounded by his family and friends. Brian graduated from Peabody High School and worked for HP for 25 years. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially the summer cookouts by his pool and vacations to Hawaii. Brian loved playing the guitar and was a member of several bands over the years including Points North, So Hip it Hurts and Pirahna Groove. He is survived by his wife Kathleen (Wiswall-Bourque) Shea of Davie, FL, was the loving son of the late Francis and Lois (Sonnabend) Shea, brother of Karen L’Italien and her late husband Dennis L’Italien of Beverly, Kevin Shea and his wife Kelli of Miami, FL, and brother-in-law of Diane Salvato and her husband Jim of Wakefield. He is also survived by his son, Jason Bourque and his wife Lillibeth of Plantation, FL and daughters, Jessica Bourque of Kailua, Hawaii and Aimee Shea. Grandfather of Ixhora, Sabrina and Connor. Loving uncle of Tracy Smith and her husband Matt, Todd L’Italien and his wife Dimetra and Allison DiPietro and her husband Dan. He will be missed by his many friends including Mike (Como) Cormier and Barbara Bryan. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather for his Memorial Service held on Saturday, July 12 at 12:00 Noon at Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn Street, Peabody, with a visitation before the Service from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Kaplan Family Hospice House c/o Care Dimensions, 75 Sylvan St., Suite B-102, Danvers, MA 01923.
