Obituary of Phillip E David

Phillip E. David, 61, of Peabody, died early Friday afternoon at his home following a brief illness. He was the devoted husband of Elizabeth (Burton) David with whom he shared over 30 years of marriage. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Philip E. and Florence (Miller) David. He had lived in Lynn before moving to Peabody 20 years ago. Prior to her retirement he had worked maintenance and carpentry around the North Shore. Besides his loving wife, he is survived by three sons, Phillip E., Jr., Paul W., and Peter J. David, all of Peabody; a daughter, Lisa David of Waltham; a brother and sister-in-law, Willie and Janice David of Franklin; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Debbie and Steve Peckham of Bourne, Donna and Mike Horvath of Weymouth, and Phyllis and Frank Rice of Norwood. Also survived by two grandchildren, Celena and Amanda David of Peabody, and several nieces and nephews. His funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 12 Chestnut St., Peabody Facility to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visitation prior to the service from 9 until 10:45 AM. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
