Obituary of Richard T. "Rick" Levasseur, Jr.

Richard T. “Rick” Levasseur, Jr., 59, of Beverly, died at Beverly Hospital on Thursday, July 24, 2014 following a lengthy illness. Born on June 24, 1955, Rick was raised and educated in Lynn. Before moving to Beverly 2 years ago he resided in Salem for many years. Rick was employed for several years as a baling machine operator at the North Shore Waste Paper Company in Salem before retiring 15 years ago due to his failing health. As hobbies, he enjoyed cooking, fishing and spending time with family and friends. Rick is survived by his parents, Richard T. and Jacqueline M. (Grenier) Levasseur of Peabody, many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. A graveside committal of his ashes will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 226 North Street, Salem to which relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Arrangements are by the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody.
