Obituary of Vitalina (Mendonca) Pereira

Vitalina (Mendonca) Pereira, 70, of Peabody Ma and Graciosa, Azores, Portugal died On Monday, August 4, 2014 in Santa Cruz, Graciosa, Portugal after a long illness. She was the wife of Manuel Pereira. She was born and raised in Santa Cruz, Azores and had resided in Peabody for 30 years before returning to Santa Cruz. She had been employed at the Parker Brother Games in Salem prior to her retirement. She is survived by her husband, Manuel, her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Susana Pereira of Westfield, MA, her cherished grandchildren, Mason and Samantha Pereira of Westfield, her sisters, Mariana Morais and Maria Constantina both of Peabody, MA and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Leotina Correira. A Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:30 until 10:30 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Rt. 114 Peabody/Salem line at 11:00 AM Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem.
