Obituary of Joseph Patrick Girard

Girard, in Danvers, August 6, 2014, Joseph Patrick Girard, 74, of Rowley, formerly of Peabody and Chelsea, MA, passed away peacefully at the Kaplan Family Hospice House after a lengthy illness. He was the beloved and devoted husband of Jill (Anderson) Girard of Rowley and the loving father of Deborah A. Walton and her husband Todd of Pomona, CA, Lynne M. Copelas and her husband George of North Reading, and Adam C. Kronoff and his wife Vicki of Groveland, brother of Alfred Girard and his wife Helen “Pat” of Beverly, brother-in-law of Meredith A. Fowler and her husband Robert T. of Scottsdale, AZ, cherished grandfather of Kelsey Walton, Nicholas, Kristina and Kaitlyn Copelas, and Calan Kronoff. Also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 10, from 3:00 until 6:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. His funeral will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM from the Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Adelaide’s Church, 708 Lowell St., WestPeabody at 12 Noon. Burial will be in WildwoodCemetery, Winchester. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
