Obituary of Mary Eileen (Fuller) Vaughan

Mary E. (Fuller) Vaughan, 92, of Peabody passed away peacefully on August 18, 2014 with her family in attendance. Mrs. Vaughan was the wife of the late R. Norman Vaughan and the mother of the late Robert N. Vaughan Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Maureen V. Ulevich of Henderson, CO and Kathleen V. Talkington of Salisbury, MA, her son Donald E. Vaughan and his husband Lee S. Ridgeway of Dorchester, four grandchildren, Jacob V. Ulevich of Hoboken, NJ, Samuel V. Talkington of Salem, MA, Sarah B. Kuemerle of Brighton, CO and Gillian V. Currier of Tempe AZ and three great-grandchildren, Grace Turner, Everett Kuemerle and Natalia Currier. Mrs. Vaughan lived her entire life in Peabody and Salem, graduating from Peabody High School and the Hawthorne Institute. She was a life-long member of St. John’s Church, Peabody and had worked at Champion Light, Morrill Leather, and, for twenty years for the City of Peabody ending her career as assistant auditor. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. Her funeral will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 9:00 AM from the Funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John’s Church, Peabody at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn. Expressions of sympathy may be made to The Benevolent Care Fund at Brooksby Village, 200 Brooksby Village Drive, Peabody, MA 01960 in her memory.
