Obituary of Mary Helena (Sirois) Robinson
Mary Helena (Sirois) Robinson, 94, of Goffstown,
NH and formerly of Danvers,
MA, died on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at the
Hillsborough Nursing Home in Goffstown,
NH. She was the wife of Sheldon Robinson of Goffstown, NH
with whom they recently shared their 75 wedding anniversary on July 3.
Mary was born in Salem,
MA of February 1, 1920, the daughter of the late John B. and Helena
(Sheehan) Sirois and had resided in Danvers most of her life before moving to
Goffstown, NH. She had been employed at
the Salem Hospital prior to her retirement.
Mary enjoyed taking trips with her husband up to Canada and visiting family members in Nova Scotia and New
Brunswick.
She had been a nurturer taking care of her children and later cherished
her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren and
watching them grow into adulthood. She
said her rosary every day and while at the nursing home loved to talk and was
known as Chatty Mary.
She is survived by her three daughters, Sandra Dupree of Farmington, NH,
Judith and her husband Paul Curley of No. Reading, MA and Deborah and Donald
McCormick of Conyers, GA, 10
Grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren
and 2 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 9:45 until 10:30
AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at
the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility followed by a Funeral Mass
in St. Thomas the Apostle
Church, Peabody at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in St. Maryâs Cemetery, Salem. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the
Alzheimerâs Association 480 Pleasant St., Watertown,
and MA 02472 in her memory.
