Obituary of Normande Michaud

Normande Michaud, 86, of Salem, died Friday morning at the Brentwood Nursing Home in Danvers following a brief illness. Born in Riviere du Loup, Quebec, Canada, she was the daughter of the late George and Marie Louise (Gosselin) Michaud. She was raised and educated in Canada and has lived in Salem for the past 58 years. Normande was the housekeeper for over 37 years at the former St. Joseph'’s Church Rectory in Salem before she retired in 1993. She is survived by her sister, Gabrielle Taillon of Canada and her nieces Bernadette White of FL, Fernande L'Italien of Salem, and Muriel Campbell of Leominster, and is also survived by several nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her 20 siblings. Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 2:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. Visitation will be held prior to the service for 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem.
