Obituary of Mary B. (Zaleckas) Mullen

Mary Beatrice (Zaleckas) Mullen, 92, of Peabody and formerly of Lynn, died Monday at the Kindred North of Boston Hospital, Peabody after a short illness. She was the wife of the late William Mullen. She was born in Lynn, Ma. on July 7, 1910, the daughter of the late George and Pauline (Saulenas) Zaleckas and was Educated and resided in Lynn most of her life before moving to Peabody 6 years ago. She had been an office clerk at the General Electric Co. in Lynn for 38 years prior to Her retirement 30 years ago. She loved line dancing, knitting, cooking and doing her Crossword puzzles. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, William and Anne Marie Mullen of West Peabody, 2 grandchildren, Elizabeth and Marie Mullen of Peabody, and a special Niece and nephew, Edward Getson of Peabody and Diane Getson Bromwell of Annapolis, Md. She was the sister of the late John Zaleckas and Victoria Getson. Her Funeral will be held on Thursday at 9:00 a.m. from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 12 Chestnut St., Peabody facility followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Adelaide’ s Church, West Peabody at 10:00 A.M.
