Obituary of Allan R Sanger

Allan R. Sanger, 77, of Peabody, died Wednesday evening at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. He was the devoted husband of Sandra (Seaberg) Sanger. Born in Peabody, he was the son of the late Richard and Cecile (Rioux) Sanger. He was a lifelong resident of Peabody and a graduate of Peabody High School, class of 1955. Allan was employed for over 23 years at Eastman Gelatine in Peabody as a water technician before retiring in 1991. He was a member of the Holy Trinity Methodist Church in Danvers. Allan enjoyed playing the piano, skiing, tennis and travel. He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra, his son and daughter-in-law, Carl and Valerie Sanger of Houston, TX, his two daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Richard Gaudet of Windsor, CT and Elaine and Gary Linehan of Peabody, his brother, Robert Sanger of FL and his six loving grandchildren, Alyssa, Brad, Craig, Marc, Derek and Chad. He was predeceased by his siblings, Frank, Paul, Patricia, Norma and Gertrude. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, Peabody on Wednesday, September 17 for visitation from 10:00 am – 12:00 noon and a memorial service immediately following. Burial will be at the Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
