Obituary of Elizabeth "Marie" Gendron

Elizabeth “Marie” Gendron, 67, of Peabody, entered the Kingdom of Heaven on Sunday September 21, 2014. She was the former wife of Joseph Medina of Peabody. Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Rita (Erwin) Gendron. She was raised and educated in Lynn and has been a resident of Peabody for the past 30 years. Elizabeth enjoyed writing and was the author of “In God’s Play Pen” and enjoyed dancing and baking apple cakes. She also loved listening to Christian music and was a member of the Christian Network. Elizabeth is survived by her three sons, Joseph Medina of Lynn, Michael Medina of Waltham and Gary Medina of Salem, her daughter, Janice Cassie of Peabody, her two sisters, Dolores Gendron of VT and Jean Young of Lynn and is also survived by her four grandchildren, Joseph, Josilyn, Jenna, and Phillip Jr., and her great grandchild, Olivia. She was predeceased by her brothers, Ronald and Raymond Gendron. Her Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 2:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
