Obituary of Gail M. (Joyce) Kenney

Gail M. (Joyce) Kenney, 75, of Lynnfield, died Sunday morning at her home surrounded by her loving family following a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of the late Richard B. Kenney Sr. Born in East Boston, she was the daughter of the late Joseph A and Ellen M (O’Brien) Joyce. She was raised and educated in East Boston, later lived in Peabody for 20 years and has spent the past 20 years living in Lynnfield. Gail enjoyed doing arts and crafts and playing bingo, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family and sharing in all of their endeavors. She will be dearly missed. She is survived by her four children, Robert K and his wife Barbara Joyce of Hanson, Richard B. Kenney, Jr and his wife Brenda of Peabody, Deborah J, Kenney and her husband Phillip Lenzi of Peabody, and Joyce Lucier of Lynnfield, her brother, Robert W. Joyce of Chelsea and is also survived by seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Mark Kenney, daughter Evelyn Acevich, and by her two brothers, Richard and Joseph Joyce. Her Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours are on Tuesday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM. Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park Lake St., Peabody.
