Obituary of Constance "Connie" Mary Bettencourt

Constance “Connie” Mary Bettencourt, 77, of Bradenton, Fl and formerly of Wenham, passed away on Monday October 14, 2014. She was the beloved wife of Francis “Frank” Bettencourt with whom she shared over 58 years of marriage. Born in Salem on August 19, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Sophie (Pszenny) Davis. She was raised and educated in Wenham upon her retirement, she moved to Bradenton, Fl where she has lived for the past 19 years. She is survived by her step mother Helen Davis of Palmetto, Fl, her son, Mark and his wife Julie Bettencourt of Bradenton, FL, his two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Mike Bettencourt and Donna and John Stephens all of Wenham, two brothers, Donnie and Ronnie Davis of MA, and is also survived by 7 grandchildren, Kari, Sarah, Caitlin, Carissa, Craig, Laurie, and Scott and by her two great grandchildren, Avah and Charlotte. She was predeceased by her son Frank “Francis” Bettencourt, Jr. A Memorial Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Margin St., Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, MA 01960. Burial will be in Wenham Cemetery, Wenham, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Spina Bifida Association of Greater New England, 219 East Main St. Suite 100 B, Milford, MA 01757
