Marie A. (Nuzzo) Regan
PEABODY—Marie A. (Nuzzo) Regan, 76, died Monday evening November 10, 2014 at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center Hospital in Burlington following a brief illness.
Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Louise (Giordano) Nuzzo. She grew up in the North End of Boston, and graduated from Girls Catholic High School in Roxbury.
Ms. Regan lived in Peabody for many years. She enjoyed spending time at the Torigian Community Life Center in Peabody, the South Branch Peabody Library, was an Usher at North Shore Music Theater in Beverly, and had great fun dancing. She was most passionate about her devotion to family, especially her cherished grandchildren, and social gatherings playing cards. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by a son, Ed Regan & his wife Nancy of Peabody; two cherished grandchildren Shawn Regan and John Regan of Peabody; a sister Alice De Marco of North End, Boston; two brothers, Eddie Nuzzo of Medford and Frank “Butchie” Nuzzo of East Boston, and she leaves several nieces & nephews.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather for a Funeral Service on Friday November 14, 2014 at 11 AM in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 5 – 8 P.M. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
