Obituary of Aaron Kane Boyd

Aaron Kane Boyd, son of Kim Gannon of Beverly and David Boyd of Salem. Aaron was born at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA at 10:36 AM on October 1st. In utero, Aaron was diagnosed with a Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia, a major birth defect that ultimately left him unable to use his lungs correctly for gas exchange. Aaron was the most handsome and sweet boy with such will and determination, overcoming several obstacles during his difficult journey. Aaron held our hands tightly and had the brightest eyes that stole our hearts. During his short time on earth, Aaron touched many lives, taught us so much, and changed us forever. Aaron’s amazing team of doctors and nurses at Boston Children’s Hospital took such great care of him did all they could to save him. Aaron courageously fought until he could give no more. Aaron earned his angel wings on November 14, 2014. Mommy and Daddy love you so much. We will hold you forever in our hearts. Fly high little superman. “I grieve for all the tomorrows that will never be. I grieve because god now holds you instead of me.” Aaron is survived by his parents Kim Gannon and David Boyd, his grandparents Jean and David Gannon of Beverly, MA, Sarah Hussey of Salem, MA, David W. Boyd of Peabody, MA, and countless other family members that loved him very much. Visiting hours for Aaron will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. His Funeral Mass of Angels will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Church, Church Street, Peabody. Burial will be St. Mary’s Cemetery, Lynn.
