Obituary of Angelo Stasinos

Angelo Stasinos, 69, of Peabody and formerly of Lynn, died Thursday evening at his home following a brief illness. He was the devoted husband of Elizabeth (Photiou) Stasinos. Born in Samos, Greece, he was the son of the late Christos and Marouda (Hatzelaiou) Stasinos. He was raised and educated in Greece, immigrated to New York, lived in Lynn for seven years and has spent the last 37 years living in Peabody. He was a self-employed contractor who did carpentry work throughout the North Shore. He also enjoyed fishing and helping out with his son at the Lake Street Farm Stand in Peabody. Besides his loving wife he is survived by four sons and three daughters-in-law, Chris and Marlene Stasinos of Bradford, Demetrius and Jennifer Stasinos of Kingston, New Hampshire, Steve and Meg Stasinos of Buford, Georgia and Yanni Stasinos of Peabody; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Nicholas and Argyro Stasinos, Costas and Diana Stasinos, and Mike Stasinos, all of Lynn. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. His Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 9:00 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 12 Chestnut St., Peabody Facility, followed by Services in St. Vasilios Church, Peabody at 10:00 AM to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visitation on Sunday from 4 until 8 PM. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the North Shore Cancer Center, 17 Centennial Dr., Peabody, Ma 01960.
