Obituary of Marjorie A. (Taylor) Lukaski

Marjorie A. (Taylor) Lukaski PEABODY—Marjorie A. (Taylor) Lukaski, 77, beloved wife of Henry Lukaski of Peabody, died unexpectedly on Sunday January 11, 2015 at the Lahey Clinic Hospital in Peabody. Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Gladys (Saulnier) Taylor. She grew up in Lynn where she attended schools, and graduated from Lynn English High School. She lived in Peabody for 52 years. Mrs. Lukaski worked in the billing department for Urology Consultants of the North Shore in Lynn and Salem for over 41 years of service. Marjorie enjoyed music and played trumpet in the High School Band. She was an avid reader, enjoyed boating and fishing with her husband and family, spent many years at Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire, and traveling on bus trips. New England, the Canada, and the Grand Canyon were among her favorite trips. She also enjoyed seasons tickets to the North Shore Music Theater. She was most passionate about nurturing her family and her dedication especially for her cherished grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Henry Lukaski of Peabody, with whom she shared 52 years of marriage; two daughters and their husbands, Joanne & John Johansson of Wilmington and Kristine & James Mikson of Merrimac; four grandchildren, Sarah & Rachel Johansson of Wilmington and Emily & Erin Mikson of Merrimac; a sister Helena Stanaitis of Huntley, IL, and several nieces and nephews among other extended family. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather on Thursday January 15, 2015 at 9 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 AM in St. Adelaide’s Church, Peabody. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4 – 8 P.M. in the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Lynn.
