Obituary of Stella M Masino

Stella M. (Bencal) Masino, 94, of Groveland, MA died Saturday morning, January 24th, 2015 at the Holy Family Hospital in Haverhill, MA following a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of the late Renato Masino. Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late John and Eva (Kucharska) Bencal. She was raised and educated in Salem, MA and was a graduate of Salem High School. She had lived in Peabody, MA for 50 years until her move to Groveland, MA eight years ago. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Cerullo of Merrimac, her son, William and his wife, Carol Masino of Malden and daughter-in-law, Karen Masino of Ipswich. She was predeceased by her son, Robert Masino. She is also survived by her five beloved grandchildren, Paula Elwell and her husband, Joe of Merrimac, Scott Cerullo and his wife Tara of Kingston, NH, Brian Cerullo and his wife Kim of Danvers, Kristen Nicholson and her husband, Peter of Georgetown and Lauren Masino of Ipswich. She is survived by her beloved seven great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brothers, Anthony, Walter and Benjamin Bencal and by her sister, Jane Duchesne. Her funeral service will be held on Friday at 9:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Adelaide’s Church, Lowell St., Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem.
