Obituary of Ida Catherine Sliva
Ida Catherine (Pannhorst) Sliva, 87, of Peabody, died Saturday afternoon at Salem Hospital following a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Louis Sliva.
Born in Queens, New York, she was the daughter of the late William and Catherine (Bauer) Pannhorst.
She is survived by her loving children, Paul and his wife Amy Sliva of Peabody, Jacob and his wife Maribel Sliva of El Paso, TX, Linda and her husband Ronald Goncalves of Peabody. She was the beloved grandmother of Adam, Rebecca, Lauren, Ashley, Jackie, Catherine, Vanessa, and Samantha, and great grandmother of Clara, Beatrice, and Rebeca and is also survived by her many beloved nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Edward and John Pannhorst, Amelia Chiarello, Anna Rodgers, and Julia Taglienti.
Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 9:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Adelaide’s Church, 708 Lowell St., Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM. Burial in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Lake St., Peabody.
