Obituary of Doris M LeBlanc
** PLEASE NOTE: We are sad with the LeBlanc family as her husband, Joseph, died as people were gathering to honor Doris' life. We will also be honoring Joseph's life and offering prayers and family support during the Funeral Mass as both will be resting together during the Funeral Mass.
Doris M. (Fougere) LeBlanc, 82, beloved wife of Joseph LeBlanc of Middleton, died unexpectedly on Tuesday February 24, 2015 at the North Shore Medical Center—Salem Hospital while in the comforting presence of her family.
Born in Grande Digue, New Brunswick, Canada, she was the daughter of the late William and Evangeline (Maillet) Fougere. She lived there before moving to the United States, settling in Lynn and Middleton for many years. Upon her retirement she and her husband moved to Florida in 1988, then recently moved back to Middleton to be close to their family during their recent illness.
Doris enjoyed her nurturing role as wife, mother and homemaker. Her support showed as she worked alongside her husband who owned LeBlanc’s Auto Repair in Lynn. She also was a communicant of St. Agnes Church in Middleton for many years.
She is survived by her husband Joseph LeBlanc of Middleton, with whom she cherished 58 years of marriage; a daughter Judith Wilson of Middleton; two grandchildren, Victoria and Derrick Wilson both of Middleton; a sister Rita Plomondon of FL; four brothers, Donald Fougere of Boston, Alcide Fougere of Fitchburg, Neri Fougere of NH and Clarence Fougere of Gardner , and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death, besides her parents, by a son Arnold LeBlanc in 1998; also her siblings Roger Fougere, Raymond Fougere, Dorilla Fougere, Richard Fougere, Irene Girauard, Marie Manca, and Rachel Maillet
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather on Monday March 2, 2015 at 9:30 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM in St. Agnes Church, Middleton. A visitation will be held on Sunday from 4 – 8 P.M. in the funeral home. Cremation will take place after the Funeral Mass. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
