Obituary of Agnes L. "Aggie" (Briza) Finamore
Agnes L. Aggie (Briza) Finamore, 74 years, wife of Thomas C. Finamore of Peabody and Florida, died Monday June 9, 2003 at the Celebration Health Florida Hospital in Celebration, Florida, after a brief illness.
Mrs. Finamore was born July 20, 1928 in Brooklyn New York, daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth (Lent) Briza. She was raised in Brooklyn and graduated from Brooklyn High School class of 1946. In 1958 she and her family moved to Wakefield and then to Peabody. In 1995 she moved to Kissimmee Florida.
Mrs. Finamore was employed for 15 years as an antique shoe sprayer at Copeley Shoe Factory in Wakefield until her retirement 1972. She enjoyed her flower garden and cooking. She and her husband traveled extensively.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her step mother Elizabeth Diane Briza of Chelmsford; a son, Thomas R. Finamore of Groveland; a daughter and her husband, Diane D. and Alfred R. Mikson of Methuen; a brother John Feeney of East Hampton; 3 grandchildren, Lance Finamore and Samantha Finamore both of Groveland and Anthony Finamore of Merrimac; a great grandchild, Jada Finamore of Merrimac and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Charles Charlie Briza.
A graveside service will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Arrangements by the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, Peabody.
