Obituary of Guida G (Proto) Pasco

Guida G (Proto) Pasco, 84, of Peabody and formerly of East Boston, died late Sunday evening with her family by her side following a brief illness. She was the former wife of Edward Pasco. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Theresa (Rocco) Proto. She was raised and educated in East Boston, and has lived in Peabody for the last couple of years. Guida was employed as an executive secretary for over 25 years at Bank of Boston and later with Fleet Bank before retiring in 1996. Guida is survived by her son, Edward and his wife Lisa Pasco of Brockton, her son-in-law, Joseph Spuglio of Peabody, her beloved five grandchildren, her two step daughters, and is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Sandra Spuglio, and her siblings, Alfonso and Louis Proto, Florence Arena, and Anna Dineen. Her funeral service will be held on Thursday at 9:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at Out Lady of Assumption Church, Grove Street Lynnfield to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Lake St., Peabody.
