Obituary of Rose (Spaneas) Tsatsios

Rose (Spaneas) Tsatsios PEABODY – Rose (Spaneas) Tsatsios, beloved wife of the late Christos Tsatsios, died peacefully on Saturday April 11, 2015 at the North Shore Medical Center—Salem Hospital, following an extended illness. Born in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Cynthia (Kalopotharakos) Spaneas. She grew up there and lived many years in Danvers. Rose was a member of St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church in Peabody, and would always dedicated to helping family or friends through caregiving for health needs or as moral support. She will be dearly missed, and remembered as a sweet and loving woman, known for her beautiful heart and spirit. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Christina & Rich Noto of Lynnfield; two grandchildren, Richie and Alaina Rose Noto of Lynnfield; three sisters, Stella Drougas of Peabody, Florence Hailey & her husband Bob of Swampscott, and Evangeline Hemmingson & her husband Roy of FL; two sisters-in-law, Mary Spaneas of Haverhill and Irene Spaneas of FL, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death, besides her husband and parents, by brothers Peter and Gregory Spaneas, and sister Marcia Haskell. Relative and friends are kindly invited to gather on Thursday at 10 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, Peabody, followed by a Funeral Service at 11 AM in St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church, Peabody. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4 – 8 P.M. in the funeral home. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
