Obituary of Carol (Eori) Scialdone Lepore

Carol (Eori) Scialdone Lepore 67, of Naples, FL, died at her son’s residence on Monday, April 13, 2015 following a courageous battle with cancer. Carol was born in Boston on July 22, 1947 daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (Taormina) Eori. Raised and educated in Boston, she graduated from Brighton H.S. Prior to moving to Naples in 2009, Carol resided in the North End, Saugus and Malden. As a parent, Carol was a loving mother who dedicated her life to her son Troy and was always involved with his recreational, athletic and educational achievements, and for the last 15 years cherished her 3 grandchildren who were the love of her life. She enjoyed cooking and entertaining at her home where she welcomed family and friends at the holidays and at cookouts. Carol is survived by her loving and dedicated son and daughter-in-law, Troy A. and Heather Scialdone and her cherished grandchildren, Carlos, Tatyana and Gianni Scialdone all of So. Yarmouth; her siblings and their spouses, Stephen “Lyle” and Joan Eori of Winchester, Carmine Chirella of Revere, Loretta Woods of Somerville, and Gayle and Paul Kasner of Leominster, and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was also predeceased by her siblings Anthony Eori, Jr., Michael Eori, Frances “Jay” Giangregorio and Dianne Rogers, and her former husband Anthony Scialdone. Troy will receive family and friends on Friday, April 17, 2015 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. Troy will officiate at his mother’s Celebration of Life service on Saturday, April 18th at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Her burial will be held at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
