Obituary of Ronald J. Rotcavich

Ronald J. Rotcavich, 59 years, of Peabody, died accidentally on Friday while at work. Mr. Rotcavich was born June 30, 1943 in Peabody son of the late Walter and Theresa (Mailloux) Rotcavich. He was raised in Peabody finishing his High School senior year in California. He resided in Peabody for most of his life. Mr. Rotcavich was employed as an auto mechanic at North Shore Lincoln Mercury in Peabody. He had also been employed at other dealerships on the North Shore for the past 40 years. He was a member of the V.F.W. Fidelity Post 1011 in Peabody, Franco American Club in Beverly, Benjamin F. Harrington Masonic Lodge A.F. & A.M., Danvers Fish and Games. He also loved playing darts, trapshooting and automobiles. Mr. Rotcavich is survived by 2 sons and a daughter-in-law, Jeffery and Amy Rotcavich of Lynn, Randy Rotcavich of Peabody; a daughter, Lori Cooper of Epping, NH; a brother, Walter Rotcavich, Jr., of Danvers; a sister, Barbara Santa Maria of Winthrop; his former wife of Judith F. (Spencer) Dubuque of Peabody; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may pay their respect Wednesday from 4 to 7:30 p.m. at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, at the 20 Church St., Peabody location (next to St. John’ s Church) 978-531-0472. A service will be held Wednesday in the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. A graveside committal of ashes will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
