Obituary of William Frank Novick

William F. “Frank” Novick, 66 PEABODY – William F. “Frank” Novick, 66, beloved husband of Sandra (Rawson) Novick, died unexpectedly on Saturday May 23, 2015 at the North Shore Medical Center—Salem Hospital, following an extended illness. Born in Beverly, he was the son of the late Walter and Doris (Goodwin) Novick. He grew up in Peabody where he graduated from Peabody High School, and was a lifelong resident. Mr. Novick served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a Machinist, working at General Electric in Lynn and also a few machine shops in Danvers and Peabody. Frank enjoyed cooking and baking, as he liked spending time with his family. He was a former member of the VFW in Peabody, enjoyed music of the 1960’s, and was an avid football and Patriots fan. He is survived by his wife Sandra (Rawson) Novick of Peabody; two sons Stanley Lachowicz of FL and Shawn Lachowicz of Peabody; one grandson Joshua Hudson of Haverhill; two brothers Wally & his wife Claire Novick of Peabody and Gordon Novick of Lynn; a sister Vera White of Peabody; two aunts, Olga Florence of Lynn and Pauline & her husband Joe Novick of Danvers; a mother-in-law Norma (Melanson) O’Neil of Peabody; he was brother-in-law of Kevin O’Neil and Karen & her husband Brian Ross all of Peabody, and Ramona Rawson of FL, and he leaves several cousins, nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather on Wednesday May 27, 2015 for a visitation from 11 AM to 1 PM in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by a Funeral Service at 1 PM in the funeral home.
