Obituary of Paul Norman Lindsly

Paul Norman Lindsly 78, died on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at the Northeast Arc Group Home, in Danvers surrounded by his loving cousin Susan, her family, and the caring staff of Northeast Arc. Paul was born in Peabody on November 2, 1936 and lived in Danvers for many years. In 1963 he moved to Peabody to be cared for by his aunt, Emily Davidson, and cousin, Susan Reed. He was employed for several years at Primrose Market, Pewter Pot and Denny’s. In 2007, Paul resided at the Homes for the Deaf and in 2013 moved to a Northeast Arc residence in Danvers. He was an avid Red Sox fan and in his final days enjoyed watching the DVDs of the 2004 Red Sox World Series win. Paul is survived by his cousin, Susan Reed and her family of Peabody, and was predeceased by his mother Sanni (Peura) Lindsly, his aunt Emily (Peura) Davidson, various other aunts, uncles, and cousins. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 30 at St. John Lutheran Church, 32 Ellsworth Road, Peabody, followed by a collation. There will be a private committal of Paul’s ashes.
