Obituary of June Marie (Anzalone) Tsaparlis

June Marie (Anzalone) Tsaparlis formerly of Chelsea and Lynn and most recently of Peabody died suddenly on May 28th after a brief illness. She was 81. She was the daughter of the late Armand and Julia (Carbone) Anzalone of Boston. June was the wife of the late James N. Tsaparlis of Lynn to whom she was happily married for 47 years. She is survived by her children; Nicholas J. Tsaparlis of Peabody, Christopher and Maria Tsaparlis also of Peabody and Michel J. Tsaparlis and Efstratios Skrimizeas of Del Ray Beach, Florida; her grandchildren, James W., Tayla N., Mia A. and Christopher Tsaparlis all of Peabody. She was preceded in death by her sister Eleanor Roomian formerly of Sunrise, Florida and leaves behind a sister Dyan Ruhana of North Carolina and Robert Anzalone of Naples, Florida. She also leaves behind her sister in-laws, Doris Dumarat and Anna Tsaparlis of Lynn as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. Mrs. Tsaparlis attended Chelsea High School and was a beauty consultant at the former Filene's Department Store in Downtown Boston prior to her marriage in 1958. She and her husband operated the Broadway Donut Shop in Chelsea for many years prior to her husband’s retirement in 1989. June when on to work at the Heavenly Muffin and Donut Shop in Melrose and the Stop & Shop in Saugus prior to her retirement in 1998. Her family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Conway-Cahill, Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, Peabody. Her funeral will be held on Thursday, June 4th at 9 a.m. from the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Ann Church, 140 Lynn St., Peabody.
