Obituary of Domingos "Bingo" Soares

Domingos “Bingo” Soares, 69, of Gloucester, peacefully passed on June 2, 2015 at the Pilgrim Nursing Home in Peabody following a brief illness. Domingos was born in Gloucester on March 26, 1946, and was the son of the late Domingos and Hilda Soares. He lived in Salem and Peabody area for many years. Domingos is a 1965 graduate of Gloucester High School and attended North Shore Community College. He is a past Distract A Commander of the American Legion and was on the Veterans Council for 10 years in Gloucester and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was employed by Gloucester Engineering for many years. He will be missed by his family and friends. He is survived by a sister, Hilda Pata, and by many nieces and nephews. There will be a private celebration of life for family and friends. Arrangements were made by the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody.
