Obituary of Brandon Lee Rinaldi

Brandon Lee (Ferreira) Rinaldi , 25, of West Peabody, passed away on July 2, 2015 at Salem Hospital. Brandon was born in New Bedford, MA to Regina Ferreira on Thanksgiving Day, November 23, 1989. Following the unfortunate death of his mother in 1996, Brandon and Billy’s Aunt Paula Ferreira was blessed when her two nephews became her sons. In June of 1999 Paula married Robert Rinaldi, and the family became one, even before the legal adoption was processed. Brandon became the oldest of three when his youngest brother, Domenic, was born. Brandon had a wonderful childhood growing up in Peabody. He attended West Memorial Elementary School, The Higgins Middle School and Peabody High School. He loved to make people laugh and was the kindest, most loving person to everyone he knew. He loved to be with his friends and brothers, playing basketball, riding bikes, snowboarding, and skateboarding. As a youth, Brandon enjoyed his summers in their family home in Portugal, especially with his maternal grandparents and his beloved great grandmother with whom he shared an incredible love and strong bond. Along with his immediate family, Brandon is survived by his grandparents, Joanne and Charles Rinaldi of Wakefield; his aunt Joanne (Rinaldi) Collins and her husband Donnie; his uncle Charles (Chuck) Rinaldi; his uncle George Ferreira and his wife Diane; his many cousins; his great aunt Ludevina Freire of Portugal and great uncle Manuel Freire of Venezuela. He will be greatly missed by everyone that had the pleasure of knowing him. His smile lit up a room and instantly made anyone in his presence happy and cheerful. A visitation will be held on Friday, July 10, from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway,Cahill-Brodeur Funeral home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. His funeral will be held on Saturday at 12 Noon from the Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Adelaide’s Church, 708 Lowell St. Peabody at 1:00 PM.
