Obituary of Brian P. Wynne

Brian P. Wynne 62 of Peabody, loving husband of Pauline A. (Rheaume) Wynne, died on Sunday, July 12, 2015 with his family by his side at MGH in Boston. Brian was born in Melrose on August 22, 1952 son of Marguerita (Bennett) Wynne and the late Patrick Wynne. He was raised in Peabody and in 1971 graduated from the Peabody Vocational High School. Brian was a lifelong resident of the city moving to Lynn in October 2014. Brian enlisted into the U.S. Army during Vietnam and served from 1972 with a rank of SP4 receiving his honorable discharge on August 27, 1975. Brian being very patriotic chose to join the Peabody Police Department in 1980 as a reserve officer and was sworn in as a patrolman in 1983 a position he held until his retirement in 2008. He was a member of the AOH Division 11, VFW Fidelity Post 1011, St. Michael Society all in Peabody and a former member of the Amity – Mosiac Lodge in Danvers. As hobbies, Brian was an excellent cribbage player, enjoyed sports, hunting, fishing and going on road trips with his family. In addition to his wife Pauline with whom he celebrated 39 years of marriage and his mother Marguerita of Peabody, Brian is survived by his children, Scott M. Wynne and his wife Amber of Danvers, and Sheila R. Wynne and her fiancé Phellipe E. Sousa of Peabody; his cherished grandchildren, Aurora and Colton Wynne; 2 brothers and their spouses, Michael and Betty Wynne of Raymond, NH, James and Freida Wynne of Olympia, WA; a sister and her husband, Maureen and Brian Lynch of Peabody; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Raymond Rheaume of Seabrook, NH, Chuck Rheaume of Rowley, Diana and James Seaberg of Peabody, Joanne and Richard Robbins of Naples, ME; many nieces, nephews and dear friends. His family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, July 16, 2015 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. His Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday July 17th at 11 a.m. in the funeral home followed by cremation.
