Obituary of Carole "Caroline" M. Fisichella

Carole M. "Caroline" Fisichella of Peabody, died peacefully on Friday, July 17th at the Rosewood Nursing home in Peabody. She was the wife of the late Salvatore Fisichella. She was recently given a party by her family and friends on her 99th birthday. She was born in Phillipsburg, New Jersey on January 30, 1916 , the daughter of the late Calarga and Rosina (Morello) Catanzara and later moved to Boston and had resided in Malden before moving to Peabody 44 years ago. Caroline enjoyed gardening, planting her flowers every year around the house. She also had a love of butteflies. She liked to cook and produce her favorite recipes at family gatherings and enjoyed having family and guests at her home. She is survived by her children, Francis Fisichella of Peabody, Karl Fisichella and his companion Dorothy Benson of Derry, NH, Carol Ann and her husband Paul Magner of Stockton Springs, Me and Janice Rose Roberts of Cambridge, her cherished grandchildren, Karen and her husband Michael Glennon of Norwell, Michael Magner of Stoneham, David and his wife Linda Magner of Los Angeles, Calif., Angelica and her husband James Chilson of Woburn and Nicholas and his wife Andrea Fisichella of Belmont, her great grandchildren, Jake and Chloe Glennon, Caroline and Jacqueline Magner and Joseph Fisichella and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Betty St. Claire. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at St. Adelaide’s Church, 708 Lowell St., West Peabody at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park Peabody.
