Obituary of Ollga Qirjazi

Ollga (Papa) Qirjazi, 80, of Peabody, died peacefully on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at the Hunt Nursing and Retirement Center, Danvers with all of her family at her side. She was the wife of 63 years to Ziso Qirjazi. She was born on March 10, 1935 in Saranda, Albania, the daughter of the late Nikola and Areti (Vasili) Papa and had resided there for 60 years before moving to Peabody in 1996. Ollga enjoyed having her family and friends over her house and making them some of her favorite recipes and enjoying their friendship. She also liked to travel with her husband to different places but her favorite time was sharing stories with her children and grandchildren. She had been a member of St. Vasilios Church in Peabody. Besides her husband Zizo, she is survived by her children Thoma, Grigor and Eleni Qirjazi all of Peabody, Foti Qirjazi of Topsfield, MA, Kleanth Qirjazi of Middleton, Ma and Antoneta Sotiri of Harwich, MA, thirteen grandchildren, a great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by 3 brothers and a sister in Albania. A Visitation will be held on Friday, August 7 from 9:30 until 11:30 AM and from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Relatives and friends kindly invited. Her Funeral will be held on Saturday at 9:00 AM from the Funeral Home followed by Services in St. Vasilios Educational Center, 7 Paleologos St., Peabody at 10:00 AM. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery Peabody.
