Obituary of Theresa E (Richards) DeLillo

Theresa E (Richards) DeLillo, 47, of Peabody, formerly of Malden, died Sunday morning at the Winchester Hospital following a courageous battle against cancer. She was the devoted wife of Brooks DeLillo with whom she shared over 22 years of marriage. Born in Malden, she was the daughter of Thomas and Eileen (McNeil) Richards. She was raised and educated in Malden and was a graduate of Malden High School, class of 1985. She later attended Bunker Hill Community College. She was employed with John G. Crowe Associates Inc in Winchester as a bookkeeper for many years. Theresa enjoyed cooking, baking, and reading, but her favorite time was spending time with her family and her extended family and sharing in all of their endeavors. She will be dearly missed. Besides her loving husband, she is survived by her son Evan DeLillo of Peabody, her two brothers, Kevin Richards of PA and Thomas Richards of Malden, her sister, Christine McCoy of Malden and by many extended family and friends. Her funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St.., Peabody, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Church, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM. Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
