Obituary of Jeanette M Vietri

Jeanette M. Vietri, 85, wife of Michael J. Vietri, died peacefully on Saturday August 29, 2015 at the Brooksby Village Community in Peabody, following an extended illness. Born in South Boston, she was the daughter of the late Stanislaus and Marguerite (Muise) Thibault. She grew up in Saugus and graduated from Saugus High School. Jeanette was a lunch aide in the Lynn school system. She enjoyed playing Bingo, taking trips to Foxwoods, volunteering at Union Hospital and she loved her Chinese food. Her highest devotion was to her family and loved her grandchildren and great granddaughter. She is survived by two sons and three daughters and their spouses, Donna & James Cassetta of Swampscott, John M. & Linda M. Vietri of Peabody, Debra & John Brackett of Peabody, Michael A. & Linda J. Vietri of Peabody, and Diane & Robert Ricciardelli of Danvers; six grandchildren, Tara Jalbert, Michael Cassetta, Nicole Cassetta, Ryan Brackett, Taylor Vietri, and Emma Ricciardelli; one great-grandchild, Addison Jalbert; three sisters, Doris O’Dow, Anna Collins, and Marilyn Ballard; one brother Adolph Thibault, a sister-in-law Teresa Thibault and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Herbert Thibault. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather for her Funeral Service on Thursday September 3, 2015 at 10 AM in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4 – 8 P.M. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to All Care Hospice, 210 Market Street, Lynn, MA 01910 in memory of Jeanette M. Vietri.
