Obituary of Ronald Raymond

Ronald Raymond, 59, of Manchester, NH and formerly of Peabody, died unexpectedly Monday evening at the Elliott Hospital in Manchester, NH. He was the beloved husband of Christine (Cole) Raymond with whom he shared over 30 years of marriage. Born in Waterbury, CT, he was the son of Lucien and Dorothy (Sinclair) Raymond. He was raised and educated in Peabody and was a graduate of Peabody High School, class of 1975. Upon marrying his wife Christine, he moved to Manchester, NH where he has lived for the past 30 years. Ronald was employed for over 32 years for the Neuco Company based in Everett as a construction supervisor. He was an avid NASCAR racing fan, especially of Dale Earnhardt, Jr and loved baseball and the Boston Red Sox. He also enjoyed camping and will always be remembered as the one who took his friends to their first camping, NASCAR, or baseball adventure. Besides his wife Christine, he is survived by his son and best friend Robert P Raymond, his three brothers, twin brother Donald Raymond of Lynn, Barry and his wife Sandy Raymond of Hampstead, NH, and Dana and Mal Raymond of Lynn, his two sisters, Robin Bansfield of Lynn and Rose Raymond of Peabody and by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. He was predeceased by his brothers Jerry and Billy Raymond. Visiting hours for Ronald will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. A Graveside Funeral Service will be on Thursday at 10:00 AM at Cedar Grove Cemetery, 100 R Cedar Grove Ave, Peabody.
