Obituary of Priscilla Ruth (Cragen) Davis

Priscilla (Cragen) Davis, 72, of Hampton, NH died peacefully on Monday, September 7, 2015 with her family at her side at the Mass General Hospital, Boston. She was the wife of the late Ralph E. Davis who died in 1998. She was born in Malden on February 22, 1943, the daughter of the late John and Dorothy (Lee) Cragen and was a graduate of Malden High School. Priscilla had resided in Lynn for many years before moving to Hampton, NH 12 years ago. She was an avid reader, enjoyed knitting and playing games on her ipad. She also loved to cook and bake including her famous cinnamon twists. She has been treasurer on the board of the Village at Hampton Center Condo association. Her most precious time was spent being with her family and friends. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Wendy Davis of Peabody, a daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Tony Gallagher of Newburyport, a brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Dorothy Cragen of Northwood NH and Barefoot Bay, FL, her cherished grandchildren, Kenneth Jr., Ashley and Alyssa Davis all of Peabody , Samantha Weeden of Haverhill, MA, and Katelyn Gallagher of Newburyport, MA and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Carol Bent. A private burial will be held at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
