Obituary of Marjorie (Reynolds) Hoyle

Marjorie (Reynolds) Hoyle PEABODY – Marjorie (Reynolds) Hoyle, 92, beloved wife of the late Joseph Hoyle, died peacefully on Friday September 11, 2015 at the Pilgrim Rehab & Skilled Nursing Center in Peabody, following an exteneded illness. Born in Everett, she was the daughter of the late James and Marjorie (McCarthy) Reynolds. She grew up in Everett, where her father served as Mayor, and graduated from Everett High School. She lived in Peabody for the last 60 years. Mrs. Hoyle, affectionately known by all as “Momz”, was passionately devoted to her family. She loved her nurturing role and served well as Matriarch to five generations in the Hoyle family. She will be dearly missed by all she loved. The family is grateful and offers special thanks to the staff at Pilgrim House for the care she received for the last several years. She is survived by three sons and a daughter and their spouses, Kevin & Judy Hoyle of Wenham, Reynolds & Edwina Hoyle of Bluffton, SC, Kenneth & Georgine Hoyle of Peabody, and Marjorie & Mike Miskell of Falmouth; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death, besides her husband and parents, by a son Joseph Hoyle, brother Jim Reynolds, and sister Claire Rains. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather on Tuesday September 15, 2015 for a visitation on Tuesday from 10 AM to 1 PM in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, with a Funeral Service to follow at 1 PM in the funeral home. Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
