Obituary of Clementina R. Velez

Clementina R. Velez, 89, of Danvers and formerly of Peabody, died Friday, September 18, 2015 at the Brentwood Rehab and Healthcare Center, Danvers after a long illness. She was born in Peabody on December 9, 1925, the daughter of the late Avelino and Georgina (Enos) Velez and had resided in Peabody most of her life. She had been employed at the Huse Liberty Mica Corp in Peabody for over 25 years prior to her retirement. Clemey was an avid beano player and enjoyed music and playing the piano. She had a love of animals and received a lot of joy with her Poodle dog “Jet”. She is survived by her sister, Marjorie Kelly of Danvers, her brothers and sisters-in-law, Henry and Mary Velez and Ronald and Iris Velez all of Peabody and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Janice Velez and the sister-in-law of the late Cecil Kelly. A Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2015 from 9:30 until 11:00 AM at the Conway,Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility followed by a Service there at 11:00 AM. Burial will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
