Obituary of Ethel H. (Blodgett) Moody

Ethel H. (Blodgett) Moody, 76, of Peabody died peacefully on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at the Rosewood Nursing Center, Peabody with her family at her side. She was the wife of the late Charles M. Moody who died in 2012. She was born in Lynn, MA on April 15, 1939, the daughter of the late George W. and Alice (Weaver) Blodgett and was a graduate of Lynn English High School. She had resided in Peabody most of her life. Ethel had been a Secretary at the Essex County Craftsman Company in Salem for 10 years prior to her retirement. She also helped with the Weight Watchers Program in the North Shore area for many years. She enjoyed gardening around her home watching her flowers grow to fruition and also liked to bowl with the Keglers at the Metro Bowl, but her most precious time was spent being with her family. She is survived by her four children, Cheryl and her husband Michael Deveaux of No. Andover, Robert and his wife Doreen Bonia of Peabody, Ronald and his wife Laura Bonia of Brentwood, NH and James Bonia, her cherished grandchildren, Desirae Deveaux of No Conway, NH, Christina Deveaux and Timothy Deveaux both of No Andover, Robert Bonia Jr and his wife Jenifer of Manchester, NH, Martin and Dana Bonia both of Peabody Derek Bonia of Topsfield, MA and Bryan Bonia of Salem, NH, Jenifer Bonia of Beverly, MA and Justin Bonia of Burlington, MA, a great grandchild, MacKenzie Bonia, her sister Lois Noyes of No Carolina and many nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2015 from 1:00 until 3:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility with a Service at 3:00 PM.
